Million Dollar Trip - March 27-28, 2012 Our Nation's Capitol - June 4-12, 2012 Summer in Minneasota - August 15-16, 2012 Rough Rider Tour - August 27-28, 2012 Mystery Trip - October 3 - 5, 2012 March 27 - 28, 2012 This is an overnight trip. Price is $299.00 per person based on double occupancy. After stopping for lunch, we arrive at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Minneapolis. With the help of our guide, we will see the wonderful work this hospital does providing free care for children. After dinner that evening, we are in for a special treat. We attend the traveling Broadway Show “Million Dollar Quartet”. This show is on a limited engagement at the State Theatre. “Million Dollar Quartet” is the name given to recordings made on Tue. Dec. 4, 1956, in the Sun Record Studios in Memphis. The recordings were of an impromptu jam session among Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash. The next morning, get ready for some fun and laughter as we join the “Gunderson Girls” on a journey to the tackiest places in St. Paul and Minneapolis. Our next stop is at the Old Log Theatre where we will enjoy lunch and a entertaining production. We will return home that evening.
June 4 - 12, 2012 A 9 day, 8 night trip. Price is $1,036.00 per person based on double occupancy. Watch history come alive while you enjoy what Washington, DC has to offer. Tour includes a guided tour of the battlefield at Gettysburg, PA, Highlights of our trip to Washington, DC will include a tour by the monuments, including Embassy Row, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, and Iwo Jima. We will visit the Capitol, Ford’s Theatre, and the Kennedy Center. We will also visit Mount Vernon, Smithsonian Museums, Arlington National Cemetery, Holocaust Museum, Jefferson Memorial and Pentagon Memorial.
July 11, 2012 This is a day trip, with a price of $135.00 per person, to picturesque Walhalla, North Dakota. Frostfire Theatre is a covered amphitheater with the Pembina Gorge forming an impressive backdrop. We will enjoy lunch in the scenic dining room followed by a performance of the hit show “Grease”. Following the show, we will return home, stopping for dinner along the way.
August 15 - 16, 2012 An overnight trip, price is $279.00 per person based on double occupancy. We travel to Minneapolis to Target Field for an afternoon baseball game. After the game, we are off to Lake Minnetonka, where we will board a yacht and be treated to an evening Hawaiian Luau while we cruise around the lake. The next morning, we head back to Target Field for a two hour guided tour of this magnificent stadium. We will see areas of the ballpark guests normally don’t see, including the press box, clubhouse and dugout. We will then be on our way home.
August 27 - 28, 2012 An overnight trip, price is $290.00 per person based on double occupancy. We will visit the Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park and Custer House. We will be traveling through Theodore Roosevelt National Park, stopping along the way to take in the breath-taking beauty of the North Dakota Badlands. Upon arriving in Medora, we will enjoy the Pitchfork Fondue before attending the famous Medora Musical. We will have time the next morning to roam around Medora before leaving for home.
October 3 - 5, 2012 Fall is a time of change. It is also a time of ghosts, goblins and yes….mysteries. Join us on this mysterious trip to who knows where. Be sure to watch around every curve. The unknown awaits you. The Mystery Trip will be a 3 day, 2 night trip. Price is $392.00 per person based on double occupancy, and will include 2 breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 2 dinners.
